Panzerbatterie Festen Haseler – 15 cm TH
Installed at the end of the 19th century near Metz, the Panzerbatterie of the Festen Haseler is a German battled battery equipped with 15 cm shell turrets (TH – Turmhaubitze). Designed to defend the western front, it is part of the Moselstellung fortification system. During World War I, this battery illustrates the evolution of German fortified artillery, combining armored protection and firepower to withstand modern assaults.
