The bell bells, Saint James was thought for the Outposts of the Maginot Line of the Alps, often in areas difficult access. A simple but very relevant design provides a wide field of observation. Its Low silhouette, barely exceeding the slab, facilitates the camouflage and allows it to melt naturally into the landscape, making it undetectable for the enemy. Installed on locations generally out of direct range of artillery, its shielding, despite reduced thickness, provides satisfactory protection to the watchman in stopping perforating bullets to 30 metres.
