Billardt75d :
The T75D, manufactured by the Billiards establishments from 1939, is a compact narrow-lane compact diesel locotor (600 mm). Originally designed for the French army, especially for refueling the maginot line, it is equipped with a three-cylinder engine developing about 75 horses.
Main features:
Mass: about 8 tons
Length: 4.55 m
Power: 75 hp
Maximum speed: about 8 km / h
After its military use, it has been widely used in the industry (quarries, sandpillars, sweets ...). Its robustness and mechanical simplicity are still worth a place in several tourist and patrimonial networks.
This locotractor embodies the reliability and versatility of French railway gear of the twentieth century.
