This heavy seat mortar, designed at the end of the nineteenth century, was intended for the destruction of enemy fortifications. Used in particular during the First World War, it was characterized by its ability to pull explosive shells of Grand Caliber with plunging trajectory. Mounted on a steel sharpener, he combined firepower and short-range precision, well adapted to the trench warfare.
