Poor Platform 1888
Designed at the end of the 19th century for the purposes of the French campaign artillery, the Poor Platform 1888 is an emblematic element of the narrow-walled military rail system.
It made it possible to install heavy parts (cannons, sharpening, hardware) on cars or ground, ensuring a stable and quickly deployable basis.
Modular and robust, it was widely used during the First World War ... and was even reused several decades later on some railway facilities on the Maginot line.
Reproduced here on a level This piece is ideal for enriching your dioramas from the 1888-1940 era, whether it is a railway scene, a convoy of artillery or a military deposit.
