The type 1 agricultural carnet (way 50), designed in double iron I of 12 cm, is robust and stable thanks to its weight. It has hardened cast iron wheels mounted on fixed axles riveted to the spar. A sheetboard platform protects the wheels from dirt while facilitating the evacuation of the earth. Its iron coupling bar ensures a simple and protected hook. Capable of carrying up to 600 kg, it is limited to 250 kg in agricultural and forestry use due to axle wear. It was replaced in 1882 by the more durable type 2 thanks to its mobile steel axles.
