The bell GFM (Guetteur and Fusil-Mitrailleur) is an element of the French fortifications, particularly those of the Maginot line. Designed for observation and close defence, it allows a soldier to use a periscope, a handgun or a grenade launcher while remaining protected. Made of cast steel, it has several models adapted to the needs of fortifications.
