Security policy (edit with Customer reassurance module)
The Shielded Tractor Filtz was a french prototype developed in 1915 by the engineer Paul Filtz during World War I. This vehicle combined an agricultural tractor chassis with a riveted steel plate shield, designed to protect the crew from light fire and shrapnel.
Total ten prototypes were built, exploring different versions and configurations to improve its performance. However, the project suffered from technical limitations, including too low speed and insufficient manoeuvrability, making the vehicle unsuitable for the front. Finally, the Blinded Tractor Filtz was not adopted by the French army, but it remains a testimony of the efforts of innovation before the appearance of the first modern tanks.
