The Gatard Mining Lance, designed during the First World War, is a closer weapon developed to strengthen the firepower of the troops in the trenches.
Based on the mountain barrel of 80 mm, this equipment allows to launch explosive projectiles over short distances to dislodge enemy troops or destroy their positions.
Relatively simple to use and transportable, it offers an effective solution for the trench fight, allowing to target precise positions beyond the obstacles of the battlefield.
