The flat double stamping car is a type of rail car designed to carry heavy and long loads, such as containers, metal beams or vehicles. It is characterized by a structure without walls or roof, with a flat floor that allows to easily load and unload goods. The "double stamping" refers to the tampons on either side of the car, which ensure the damping and transmission of forces during coupling manoeuvres with other wagons. This type of car is often used in freight transport for industrial or construction routes.
