Italo Gariboldi is a general italian born 20 april 1879 to Lodi1, head of the province of the same name Lombardy (Italy) and deceased to Rome (Italy) 9 February 19701, at the age of 90.
He was both a witness and a remarkable actor of the first half of XXe century : early adherent to fascism, he participated in the two world wars, as well as many other wars of the first half of the world XXe century.
He had various titles during his military career2 governor Addis Ababa en 1936, vice commander of the troops'East Africa en 1940, governor Libya, supreme chief italian armed forces in 1940-1941, commander of the'ARMIR (ARMata Italiana in Russia) in 1942.
